Vakaru, tucked away in a remote corner in South Ari Atoll, is 90 kilometers from Male’ International Airport. Your holiday really begins as the seaplane takes off from the airport lagoon. Have your cameras ready and enough film at hand during your transfer to the resort. The short 35-minute flight offers a breathtaking aerial view of the atolls, the islands and countless reefs glistening like gems in a sea of deep blue velvet.

Once you pass through immigration and customs our airport representative will meet you to escort you to the seaplane check-in counter. A quick check-in that rarely takes over a minute and you are off to the seaplane departure lounge. An unforgettable flight of 25 minutes offering the most beautiful aerial view you will ever experience, a short journey by “dhoni” from the landing platform, and you are on Vakaru. Night transfer is not provided.
