The conference center is unlikely to be used by holiday maker's, but then there is the gym, sauna, squash court, badminton court, tennis courts, volleyball court, table tennis and snooker tables. (The squash and badminton courts do not have air conditioning and so are extremely hot to play in). On top of this there is the fullest range of water-sports facilities: catamaran, windsurf and canoe, para sail, water-ski and jet-ski.

- Diving
Since the opening of Paradise Island our partner Delphis Diving Centers takes care here of all the diving. With a perfect safety record, they are able to show you with ease the best diving places in the North Male Atoll. All the Delphis instructors are having years of experience in Maldives and are able to offer you the helping hand exactly when you want or need it. If you are an experienced diver you can benefit from their knowledge of the divesites, so that you will be able to get the most out of each dive.
Being located close to classic divesites like Blue Caves, HP reef, Banana Reef and Furana Thila, certified divers will have memorable experiences during their holiday. Every season offers something beautiful! In the European wintertime we can enjoy extremely good visibility underwater, which makes diving really feel like flying between the fish. From May to November, Paradise is the perfect location (only a 5 minutes boattrip away) for visiting one of the best manta spots in Maldives. Delphis is daily offering a minimum of at least two boat dives a day to any of the spots in the atoll while two tank dives and full day trips are frequently organised.
If you are not a diver yet the lagoon of Paradise is the place to learn it. Delphis organizes beginner sessions in small groups, which will ensure you of personal attention and a comfortable way to learn diving. The big team of professional staff is multilingual ( eg at moment of writing 10 languages spoken ) and can all look back on a long teaching experience. Delphis offers all diving courses from easy beginner courses all the way up to diving instructor. Following gives you an impression of the different beginner courses.
- Water Sports
The Villa Water sports Centre in Paradise Island offers courses in windsurfing and catamaran sailing in addition to excellent facilities for a variety of water sports. The centre, located at the northern end of the island is equipped with the best. The big shallow lagoon surrounding the island is a safe and convenient place to learn windsurfing or catamaran sailing or enjoy any of the water sports offered.
Water bikes, paddleboats, water scooters are also available for you to paddle around in. Banana Riding, Fun tubes, Knee boarding, Water skiing would certainly give you the opportunity to get some excitement in the water.
Enjoy a romantic sunset ride on a two-seater paddleboat or ride the waves on a water scooter with the spray and wind on your face.
- Surfing
The surfing guests will need to hire boat rides on half-day or full-day basis. The resort do not provide surf boards and guests will need bring their own boards.
- Land Sports
The island offers the following land sports:
Aerobics, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Photo Flight, Sunset Cocktail, Blue water Safari, Submarine excursion, Beach Volley, Billiard/ Snooker, Floodlit tennis court, Gym, Indoor Badminton, Squash, Table Tennis.
- Evening Entertainment
When the sun is down, disco into the night, or small talk time away curled on a chair on the picturesque open air deck with stars above and islands beckoning across the sea. There is also a karaoke facilities.
Cultural Show
The weekly cultural show (BODUBERU) and live music depending on house count of guests and a barbecue night provide a few climatic moments in an unforgettable holiday.
- Excursions
The resort is surrounded by several other resorts and is in the vicinity of the capital Male' and many other inhabited islands. So it is just a matter of minutes by boat if you wish to satisfy your curiosity to see what goes on in these islands that you see everyday as you walk around the beach. You may visit resorts close by or catch a glimpse of the daily life of Maldivians in one of the fishing villages. For those who wish to test their skills at fishing a variety of fishing expeditions are organised. Excursions are organised on a weekly or twice-weekly basis. However these are subject to weather conditions and a minimum level of participation by the guests.
