It’s a myth that there’s not enough to do in the Maldives. Agreed, it is easy to do absolutely nothing but there is also a wealth of things to do should you want to.
At the Beach House there’s a high-tech gym, outdoor badminton, tennis court, beach volleyball, pool and billiard table, table tennis, two large communal swimming pools and both a PADI diving school and water sports centre.
There are few better places in the world to dive, snorkel or enjoy other water sports. Sea life here is nothing short of astonishing and even the most experienced divers will find underwater excursions a treat.

- Diving
At The Beach Housae at Manafaru Maldives The resorts 5 Star PADI Dive Centre has a team of experts offering a wide range of PADI-certified dive programs for adults and children as young as 8 years old, including a complimentary daily orientation dive. A PADI Open Water Dive qualification can be achieved during a one-week stay. “Bubblemaker” lessons for younger kids and Discover Scuba programs for pre-teens and older are also available.
Two new Bauer Verticus compressors and a separate Nitrox compressor make it possible to dive unlimited, with either Air or Nitrox and The resorts variety of programs include Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water license up to Assistant Instructor and a variety of specialty courses, including Nitrox, Digital under Water Photography, Videography, Underwater scooter and Re-breather courses. Giving the opportunity to the beginners and the experienced divers to enrich their knowledge and improve their diving skills.
The overwhelming hospitality and service are provided by The resorts experienced diving team, English, French, German, Italian and Japanese speaking instructors are on the island at all times and Russian speaking instructors are available upon request at time of reservation.
- Water Sports
The VDWS certified Water sports school ‘Blue’ offers complimentary non-motorized water sports to all guests. A selection of various high class quality equipments are available, such as a large variety of wind surfing boards, catamarans, kids catamaran, canoes, pedal boats, jet skis (featured on a nearby Island), mono skis, water skis, wake boards, banana boat and fun tubes.
- Qualified instructors are available for beginners and more experienced enthusiasts alike.
- Land Sports
At the Beach House we feel you can do as little or as much as you like and our range of activities is extensive offering outdoor badminton, tennis court, beach volleyball, pool and billiards tables, table tennis and a large trampoline.
- Excursions
The resorts excursions are offered both on traditional Maldivian dhonis (hand Crafted wooden boats), chartered speed cruisers and catamarans, featuring visits to local and cultural nearby inhabited islands, Big Game & Traditional Maldivian hand line fishing, snorkeling tutorials and guides. The resort also boats two private islands for more intimate experiences such as private island dining.
- Fitness
A fully equipped gymnasium with a selection of high-end equipments designed to tone, shape and develop muscle tissue are available at The Beach House at Manafaru Maldives.
The resorts personal instructors will be available to offer a helping hand for those advanced in Gym work outs or provide a program for those wishing to start visiting the gym on a more regular basis.
If you are interested in one of The resorts Yoga and Meditation sessions with The resorts certified Yoga Guru you can join him during sun set or sunrise and reap the benefits such as lowering ones blood pressure, improving slumber, or simply relieve overall stress levels.
- Gentlemen’s Retreat
Some say the Maldives is a destination that appeals more to women than men. Indeed at many resorts, facilities seem to be geared more towards women. We would like to redress the balance. Gentlemen’s Retreat is a club house/retreat designed primarily with men in mind.
Inside, you will find a 50 LCD TV, relaxing chairs, games consoles, a virtual golf simulator which allows you sample some of the world’s best eighteen-hole golf courses from the comfort of your Maldivian haven, private butlers and lots of snacks from popcorn and nuts to nachos.
