Madhiriguraidhoo is the name of the wonderful island which lodges Palm Beach Resort, a structure designed with taste and realized with a full respect of the nature. A place for the experts, reserved for who prefers the enchantments built with patience by the nature in millions of years than the artificial enchantments of the conventional villages.
The island of Madhiriguraidhoo located in Lhaviyani Atoll is one of the biggest island in Maldives, long almost 2 km and wide 400 meters. The 4km of white sand beach which surround the island are really exceptional, accompanied by a luxuriant vegetation. On the north tip of the island, a spectacular sandbank lengthening towards the sea allows you the enjoy the sunset. Around the island there is a huge lagoon, and the level of the water is lower on the east side. Near to the external side of the atoll, Palm Beach Resort has a reef reachable by swimming from the east side beaches, but the area offers better snorkelling points, and some free snorkeling trips are organized. The island is reachable by seaplane in around 40 minutes through the north.

Palm Beach Diving Center is directly managing and organizing all diving activities with professional PADI certified staff.
Diving staff shall accompany scuba divers to the L. atoll every day in the exploration of the fantastic sea beds. Located at north of Mile, is an atoll not yet frequented by the tourists. There are 0'4 islands, of which only 4 receive guests and less than 10 are occupied. This particular condition of the atoll has kept the seabed few frequented, and rich of fishes. The major immersion types that can be done on the Maldives are : le Pass (kandu), the channels aligning ocean with the inner atoll, le secche (thila), of various dimensions and depths situated in the inner atoll or in the passes, the outer reef (beru reef) coral cliff out of atoll. Since the immersions are effected by the sea currents every dive is granting you new surprises and emotions. There is simply no better place on the Maldives that makes you so close to a fascinating underworld of warm and crystal water which extends your experience. Palm Beach Diving Center is providing all necessary PADI approved courses.
