No matter where you eat, the Chinese restaurant, the Mediterranean restaurant, or the Indian, the food is authentic and mouthwatering. Our Chefs come direct from the kitchens of famous restaurants across the world, working with the common aim of providing you with the most finely cooked dishes.
Decorated with butter carvings that display intricate artistry or providing a stunning view of the beach and the ocean, the six restaurants in Kurumba will satiate your culinary desires however adventurous they may be. Let your appetite be the guide.
- Vihamana - Main Restaurant
The delightful main restaurant at the Kurumba Maldives. Offers gourmet buffets for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. With a different theme buffet every night the restaurant offers all Full and Half Board guests some of the best cuisine options to choose from. Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Lebanese, Italian to name a few. Friday afternoons are Brunch by the seaside and Sunday evening a surprise thrown in every now and then. Vihamana is always a fresh experience. The Restaurant is also open to all bed and breakfast and Room only guests.
- The Ocean Grill
Located on the edge of the beach with an overwater deck offering a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean. Prime cuts of beef, fresh lobster from the lobster pond are highlights of a varied menu. All bar-be-cued to your taste in a display kitchen.
An eclectic selection of fine wines. Ideal for romantic candlelit dinner as well as special groups of 10 to 15. Lavish seafood buffet on Sundays.
- The Hamakaze
"Ocean Winds" - The Hamakaze is the Sushi Bar and Teppen - Yaki counter serving a unique style of cuisine from the Land of The Rising Sun . With a selection of Octopus, Tuna, Salmon, Ell and much more the Hamakaze serve the choicest selection of Sushi and Sahsimi. Sip on a selection of Hot Or Cold sake as the Chef creates one culinary presentation after another on the grill and on to your plate. The Hamakaze is located right next to the Ocean Grill and the Lobster pond.
- Al Qasr
Arabian Nights at the Kurumba Maldives. Come savour a fare from the mystical Middle East . Grand palatial décor does justice to its name, Al Qasr - The Palace. Set with Arabic and other artefacts from the Middle East the Al Qasr serves traditional Lebanese specialities. Charcoal grilled meats, succulent kebabs, mezze and a variety of dips and pastes.
- Kurumba Mahal
Cuisine from the royal kitches of North India. Succulent tandoories, curries - some spicy, other subtle, Naan and Paratta breads and luscious desserts make for a dinner fit for a Maharaja.
- Ming Court
The Specialty Chinese Restaurant serving oriental delicasies from the Mainland. The Chef serves up superb selections from the Canton and Schezuan regions. With a soft waterfall on one side and a plant garden on another, marble tables and tasteful décor, the restaurant has a very contemporary and cozy look.
- The Golden Cowrie
Fine Italian cuisine. In an elegant, classical setting. Pesce, proscuitto, jambone, fromaggio. A variety of pastas and risottos. In the flavours of Tuscany and Lombardy, Sardinia and Sicily. Sensuous, full bodied Italian wines. Sinful Tiramisu. Bon Apetito!
- Neptune - Coffee Shop
Located right opposite the pool the Neptune Coffee Shop is the laidback all day dining restaurant at the Kurumba Maldives. From a selection of A la carte breakfast items to international favourites and light snacks the coffee shop is the perfect place to grab a quick bite or a small meal. Pastas, sandwiches, burgers, children's menu and select beverages are available at the coffee shop for every taste through the day till late at night. Serves a selection of pizzas from 1130 hrs to 1630 hrs.
- The Beach Bar
The place to chill! Whether you are on the overwater deck gazing at the horizon over a leisurely, meandering lunch or at the stars over fine wine. Or dancing the night away on the classy wooden floor next to the bar inside. The selection of champagne, wines, spirits and liquors here is celestic and vast. A live band is in attendance five nights a week.
- Rendezvous Lounge
The Rendezvous Lounge Karaoke Bar at the Kurumba Maldives is the perfect place to explore your singing talents. Conveniently located in a quiet corner next to the Coffee shop has the choicest selection of spirits, cocktails and liqueurs, iot shares the same wine list as the Beach Bar too. Sing away to evergreeen favourites and other top chart hits available to you on the latest top class Karaoke equipment. Your road to Fame and very late nights.
- Dine Around
You can have your own meals in the restaurant of your choices (excludes Ocean Grill and Room Services). If you choose to dine around in Ocean Grill or Hamakaze u are entitled for a 50% discount on the total food bill. USD 65.00 per person per meal (child: 50%). All clients should be advised at the time of booking.
