Mealtimes offer an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and food. The Olive Tree, a signature restaurant, offers traditional Mediterranean food in a contemporary setting with taste and variety, and a fine list of wines from all over the world.
For extra privacy, "In-Villa" dining service to feel thoroughly pampered and spoilt. Three bars or enjoy connoisseur wines, liqueurs and cigars at the exclusive Havana Club, with live piano music ensuring the perfect evening. Near the main area of the resort and located at the secluded end of the island, guests can dance through the night at Kanuhura’s disco in the coolness of the air-conditioned club or under a canopy of stars. The surrounding area offers such a wealth of interesting activities, it is hard to know where to begin. A perfect day would start with an early morning dip in the pool or ocean and a lazy breakfast on the terrace of your private villa.
- Thin Rah - (main restaurant)
Thin Rah offers expansive buffets with a different theme each day and live cooking stations where our chefs prepare individual dishes for guests. Enticing choices include fish, seafood and regional specialties, fusion dishes, sushi and sashimi, exotic salads and fruits from markets around the world, homemade ice creams and selections for younger guests. Tables are set in the airy open-sided interior of the thatch-roofed restaurant or out on the beach overlooking the lagoon and poolside for al fresco breakfasts and evenings under the stars.
- Olive Tree
Olive Tree brings you à la carte dishes from throughout the Mediterranean and features an open pizza oven. Specialties are fresh pastas, salads and a mouthwatering selection of freshly caught grilled seafood and steaks. Enjoy the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant itself, or take a poolside table for a romantic candlelit dinner as a glowing sunset fades to a myriad of twinkling stars.
- Veli Cafe & Beach Bar
In a stunning location at the northern tip of the island is the Veli Café. Creative Asian Fusion cuisine is served for dinner at this romantic beachside restaurant which overlooks the lagoon and the reef.
- Cove's - Jehunuhura island
On Jehunuhura island is Cove’s – an unparalleled al fresco restaurant that combines the charms of elegant dining with all the romance of being on a ‘desert island’. The simple, but sumptuous à la carte lunch menu of Asian flavours, includes popular dishes such as satay, stir-fried noodles and special fish curry of the day. Fresh seafood is naturally cooked over coconut husks, complemented by a range of crisp rosé wines, champagnes and light beverages.
- Handhuvaru Bar
Cool off with a chilled drink in the shade, while you relax your feet in the sand or enjoy the sunshine around the pool. A selection of cocktails, beers, wines by the glass, and fresh juices are available throughout the day, complemented by an all-day snack menu of international favourites.
- Havana Lounge
A tropical Eastern ambience is created with canopied seating, over-sized daybeds, sheesha pipes, dancing candlelight and chilled music. Indulge in the creative cocktail menu of after-dinner drinks with occasional live music.
- Nashaa Club
The Maldives' first nightclub, Nashaa Club is hidden away at the far end of the island and provides a tropical atmosphere for dancing the night away to international hits and old favourites.Open Saturdays only, 10pm to 1am.
- Lava Lounge
In a cozy, air-conditioned room, Karaoke evenings, big-screen sporting events and weekly movie showings can be enjoyed. The Lava Lounge can also be used as a conference or meeting room and has a full range of audio-visual equipment.
- Dine Around
Guests who are booked on half-board (breakfast and dinner excluding beverages) are entitled to dine at Thin Rah, Olive Tree, and Veli Cafe'. This does not include orders at Handhuvaru Bar & Pool, In-Villa Dining, Special Functions, Lobster and Caviar.
