- Diving

Due to Helengeli's location on the outer reef the unspoilt house reef is within walking distance, easily accessible to both snorkellers and divers. Some of the best dive sites, such as the Helengeli Thila, are also found near Helengeli. The dive school is run by Ocean Pro-Zürich and equipped with the best modern equipment. Experienced, multilingual European diving instructors teach PADI courses up to internationally accepted diving certificates of different levels. Twice a day diving excursions to some of the 36 dive sites nearby Helengeli are arranged, some as close as 10 minutes away by dhoni.
- Snorkelling

Being a dive island, The island has a beautiful house reef. The coulourful coral and fishes and the under water garden is just a few minutes away from the island. Unaccompanied house reef dives are permitted throughout the day into the evening. Dive gears are available to rent at the resorts dive shop.
- Leisure Activities

As usual on dive islands excursions and evening activities are not a priority. As this place is out on its own the excursions are necessarily more expansive, but half and full-day snorkel and picnic trips are organized to the uninhabited island "Kagi", and if 10 passengers get together then a trip to the inhabited island of Gaafaru is also available.
Some of the excursions are:
* Dolphin Watching * Snorkel Safari * Snorkeling with Mantas
