Around Filitheyo you will find the kind of underwater experience which snorkellers and divers dream of. You can dive on both sides of the spectacular local reef where you will find a vast variety of big fish. Of course the island has a lot more recreational activities to offer. Our guests can enjoy a visit to our ultra modern, air-conditioned fitness-centre or choose from one of the other games and sports facilities such as table-tennis, badminton, billiards, volleyball, chess, darts and the local game of carrom among other things.

This spaciously built diving centre was designed by professionals. Werner and Lily Lau who own the Dive Base have tremendous knowledge of the Maldives having operated here for many years. The Dive School is superbly equipped with a range of modern and well maintained equipment. As well as the usual stock of regulators and stab jackets, the school has a selection of wet suits and torches. As an extra special experience they offer trips diving in a new dimension with Scubapro underwater scooters.
- Water Sports
Naturally there is a surfing and sailing school on the island, with both English and German speaking instructors available, equipped with 'Top Cat'
Sail around the island in a catamaran or enjoy windsurfing. The waters around the island open up numerous sports avenues for the water sports enthusiast. Catamaran Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing , Snorkeling .

A weekly disco evening at the beach bar, folklore evenings which include 'Bodu Beru' or even a magician or a fire-swallower for your entertainment. Catamarans and Hi-Fly surf-boards and gear.
