    Hakuraa Huraa is one of the two resort island in Meemu atoll. Meemu atoll has all of it's islands on the east edge of the atoll and due to this most the islands are very stretched in shape and have large lagoons.
It's been only a few years the atoll was open for tourism and guests enjoy untouched beauty over and under water. Hakura is a very relaxing resort and offer an all-inclusive meal plan, which is liked by many who want to make sure of fixed costs. The individual water and beach bungalows offer a lot of privacy to the guests.

  Transfer time between the airport and the resort is about 40 minutes by seaplane. Night transfer is not provided.
   * Transfers available only between 0615hrs – 1600hrs.
   * Night arrivals cannot be transferred to the resort during the night. All night arrivals will be transferred to the resort during daylight.

     As you arrive nearer to the island you will notice Hakura from the sky with a row of water bungalows running on eastern edge of the islands. The water bungalows are built just a few meters from the beach and the line of bungalows bent to the shape of the island to give a remarkable view from above. Visitors claim that each time they look down there’s a different thing to look at. A lost lion fish, a wondering parrot fish and even a bored octopus, they live beneath you in their marine kingdom. The Water Bungalows sit on stilts and are complete with four-star amenities. The architecture is in harmony with its surroundings while the interiors are tastefully designed to complement the colors its tropical backdrop. Each of these bungalows has its own private open-air decks with a wooden staircase going down to the lagoon offering unobstructed views of the Indian Ocean.

     While the natural wonders provides enough avenues for entertainment, the hotel also offers a live band, cultural shows, bingo, fire limbo, crab races, divers nights and disco nights. All this in addition to diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, catamaran sailing and canoeing.
If you would like to hire snorkelling equipment then do so at the diving centre. The island operates a free snorkelling shuttle, by dhoni, on a daily basis. Full details are available at reception. This shuttle service will operate with a minimum of 6 guests.
